Can someone who has done this give me some pointers? About how much? What do I apply it with? Do I put it on all 8 RAM chips, or only the outermost? I apply Krazy Glue to all 4 corners of the RAM chip, correct? Should I spread Arctic Silver II over all the RAM chip's top, then scrape it off the corners, or only apply a tiny bit in the very center?
Well, I put sinks on all my video cards' RAM chips, top and bottom- top, i.e. nearer the CPU, is more for show IMHO but I did it anyway.
I put glue on opposite corners of the chip, just a small spot of it, and a dab of thermal goo in the middle. DO NOT mix the glue with the thermal paste, for me at least it turns to a crumbly, nonadhesive mess. Push down hard and the paste spreads out, the glue as well- the glue ends up on the side of the chip, not the top. Holds just fine and you can twist it off easyily.
You probably know that some thermal paste is electrically conductive; keep it off the pins of the RAM!!!

I dont recommend you use Superglue, follow this link and read my comments on affixing a ram sink, HSF or Video card HSF
If you dont have AS adhesive RadioShack thermal adhesive will do the job as well

Ps the problem with superglue is that it tends to run due to its viscosity and its very easy to get it on the pins on the ram and could possibly cause you problems.
