Why a m I sad - because I just bought a new (cheap) motherboard from Matsonic - Its great all the features i could possibly need - but...

Overclocking.

Cant change Multiplier - Autodetected.
Cant change Voltage - Autodetected.

The only thing i can change is the FSB. Barely.
It uses the VIA Apollo KT133 chip so 112 is the maximum.
I can tweak it 1 by 1. But when i get to 109 it wont boot cos the voltage is too low! and I cant change it.

Oh dear.

I heard of the SoftFSB program that changes the setting in the PLL-IC chip - hmm. Is there any app for multipliers? I highly doubt it... Oh dear. Ive tried a BIOS update - but my mobos so damn new that there are no updates! For the record the mobo is a Matsonic MS8127C+

Welcome to the forums, I am suprised that a mod has not warned you about the link to your own website. The seniors cannot even do this. I would suggest you remove this link quickly. As for the M/B problem, there is no multiplier program that can be had to bump that up, I would try softFSB and see what that can do until you can get a better M/B. Good Luck

hmm... that link is just a nice lookin' signature page...
i dont know for sure if thats a violation... it's not a site, just an image eh'... anyways...

dude, thats why we blow all kinds of cash on boards...
you gotta have adjustable FSB, multiplier, and vcore to O/C

Intel procs are multiplier locked ~ UnLockable
good reason to hate them eh'

you *could* modify your AMD chips bridges to make the mobo detect what you'd like it to... but this process involves cutting/connecting
and i won't be responsible for the death of ANYTHING :)

honestly, it may not even work for you,
a chance you decide to take!

i only provide the info here:
http://www6.tomshardware.com/cpu/00q3/000711/index.html

Good Luck! if you choose to try... otherwise, you have a stock system to sell or keep... build a new one for O/C with a proper board... info on mobo's in "AMD MoBo FoRuM"...
right here at this great site!
