updated outlook express, now all messages are gone

My dad got some update for outlook express 6, and now all the messages he had saved in the old version, are no longer present when the new one is opened. if anyone has some idea on how to recover the messages, I would greatly appreciate the help.

The messages are probably still there, just in a different 'Store' folder. The following article describes how to import *.dbx files that aren't stored in the current OE store root folder.
