View Full Version : what`s better 0.15a or 0.12a?
Can anybody help me with this?
I`ve got 2 fans (blowers?), 1 which works on 0.12a(mpere?) and 1 that works on 0.15a.
They are both 60mm fans but i don`t know what the difference is between those specs :(
any help would be great :)

well the .15 amp fan uses a little more power than the .12 amp(I won't insult you by doing the math for you) fan, but thats not necessairly an indication that one is better than the other. Factors like CFM(cubic feet per minute), db(loudness) and Fan lifespan all come into play...
ok thnx but (mayb a n00b question) how do i find out how much cfm each fan has?

Well 60mm fans probably don't put out very much, but you could check Here (http://www.gamingin3d.com/articles/fans/), it shows a few high performance fans that were testsd... the airflow varies from 40 to 19 CFM... so you'd wind up having to look up your fans online to find out the actual rating.
