1 GB stick for AMD 64.....

Anyone know of any good 1 GB stick for the AMD 64 3000+ running on a VNF-250 mobo?

From Anandtech's review it seems like they run best on single sided memory.

Would 1 stick be faster than two since it's not dual channel? I understand latency might be higher but wouldn't it be slower going through two channels?

1 stick of 1 gb ram and 2 sticks of 512 ram on s754 will run at same speed if you used the same ram.

But yes I heard there are some problems with A64 if you use doubled sided memroy..but it worked just fine for me.

I would recommened Ballistix for a64 while Corsair values ran fine on my board (see sig).
