I just got a New Ati Radeon Video card with Tv out 32Mb Sdram...
When I turn the computer on with the video cable hooked up it will show it on my tv and whatnot..But as soon as it goes to the windows desktop my Tv goes blank.... In the booklet about how to use the Tv out on page 4 their is a thing called Using and Adjusting TV Out..

Enabling and Disabling the Television Display

1. Click Start
2. Point to settings then click Control Panel
3.Double-click Display
4.Click on the settings tab and then the Advanced.... button.
5.Click on the Ati displays tab,
6.Click on the green enable/disable button next to the word "TV" to enable/disable the televison display.

The thing is I don't see a Tab called Ati displays and I don't see that enable/disable thing for the Tv..........

Mine's in the bottom right corner of the screen by the clock.

You don't have that?

Maybe download the beta drivers (thats what Im using)

And when in the control panel you don't have the ATI multimedia center?

on my geforce card tv out only works when the monitor isn't hooked up to the card........

and i use a program called TV Tool5 and alll you gotta do to switch from monitor to TV out is just type in something like ctrl-f1 then ctrl-f2 to switch back.. you can have the program run on startup too...........

hope that helps........
