View Full Version : Axia's Or Ayhja's?
Which Atholons overclock the best/most (Axia's or Ayhja's)? I am getting ready to buy a 1.4 T-Bird and am trying to get one that might hit 1.7. I know both of these are well known for being good oc'ers, but which one is the best? Thanks for your opinions.
theres a good chance either choice won't make 1.7
total luck of the draw, and all your other components make it even more difficult of an equation.
i'd take the ayhja if presented both to choose from...
but... i also would'nt care either way.
and i would'nt pay more for one than the other.

1.7 ... i dont know if you know but the t bird 1.4 runs really hot on its own ... i mean you can easily have your t bird 1.4 run at 55c full load without ocing one bit at it
so if you want to hit 1.7 you will have to be very lucky ... and you will have to have one hell of a good hsf :)
thats my opinion
I have a 1.4 AYHJA (Y) week 26 in my IWill KK266R at 1.93v runs 1705 water cooled. In my KG7 it will only run 1670 because the board maxes at 1.88v unless I do a voltage mod. Should get Epox 8K7A+ back next week from rma as I broke the center tab for hold down off ziff socket. Hoping to get this chip into the high 1700's with the overvolt. I used a AXIA (K) 1.33 in the Epox at 2.03v would run 1680 water cooled. I think all the 1.4 are AYHJA chips just find one with a (Y) starting third line as they O/C better than the ones with a number starting third line. There are some AYHJAR (Y) chips around that are suppose to O/C well also but they are a little harder to find.
