on my primary controller i have 2 hard disks........ on my secondary i have 1 hard disk and 1 cd rom............ how do i get it so that my primary boot device is the hard disk on the secondary controller?

does you BIOS alow you to change the boot device order?
look in your BIOS for "boot sequence" or "1st boot device"
or something along thoughs lines.
Then simply select the drive you wish to boot with

May need to use FDISK to set the other hard drive active as well. If it doesn't have a boot record on it you'll get an error for being a non-system disk.
