I dont know where to post this so sorry if I put it in the wrong one. Umm I dont really know the term for this but when you start you computer, it loads up right? Well yeah, my computer loads...checks everything...then goes to a second screen (which I dont know what to call too) and then it asks this (Looks like this)

Verifying DMI pool data
Boot from CD:
Boot from CD:
DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER

And this stays here, which makes me have to either restart or pull the plug out and i cant get the the windows loading screen, which is usually next after this loading screen. Do you guys have any idea what I can do to fix this problem?

Make sure there are no CD's in any drives...it looks like it's trying to boot from them. Also make sure no floppies are in there.

i know this sounds wierd, but it works for my roommate when he gets that error, try wiggling the ide cables to make sure they're seated correctly.

In addition, check the boot order in the BIOS. Normally found under "Advanced BIOS Features", make sure the CD-ROM isn't set to boot before the primary HDD (the one which contains the OS). Normally the order would be..."First Boot Device" - Floppy, "Second Boot Device" - HDD-0 (or something similar), "Third Boot Device" - CD-ROM.
