every1 keeps talking about it but i still dont know what it is,im using the ahyja 1.4 ,so what is the palomino?

The Palamino is the 'project name' AMD are using for the next generation Athlon CPU
Likewise the 'ThunderBird' does not officially exist, it was the project name used by AMD at the time, and the CPU was released just as an Athlon (there is no mention of the T-Bird on AMDs website) the enthusiast market continues to use the project names to indentify these CPU's for some reason.

Other names
Spitfire = Current Duron
Mogan = Next Generation Duron

Hope this clears things up

The Athlon MP is what people are calling the Palamino.

Yes I sleep sometimes.

Look at the AMD roadmap it should help make things more confusing.
