i cant seem to get my duron 750 over 840 ...
its horrible ... :( i have a kt7e and i increased my fsb to 115 everything works well ... i do about 100 burn ins with sandra ... max temp is 46 (thats ok for a full load for a duron or not?)
but after doing that im just working with my pc and it locks (that was while working on it at 115 ... 863mhz) i tried increasing the vcore voltage a little bit not too much ... only 0.025 ... but after 5 sec in win2k ... locks up again ...
now im running it at 840 but i really want to get at 900 (and i think that is really doable for a duron)
you gotta help me ... thx

1.650 ... 112 fsb * 7.5 = 840
thx for helping me ...

raise the voltage

Maybe you might want to try running your chip at 6x133 instead of at 115 MHz FSB...that way you have an even PCI divisor with 33 MHz PCI bus and 66 MHz AGP bus. The up your fsb in small increments from there. You should also only up the voltage when you're detecting instability issues.
I hate to break it to you, but Duron 750's are legendary dogs of the O/C world. My 700 got to 970.... which is slightly above average for those chips but I'd say 900 should be attainable.
What cooling are you using? as in Heatsink brand and fan brand....

yeah... you should be able to get it to go higher. If you have good cooling you should try increasing the Vcore. Maybe up to as much as 1,8 - 1,85 to get it to run stable at speeds over 900. BUT REMEMBER YOU NEED GOOD COOLING TO DO THIS! So make sure you monitor you're temps when raising the Vcore.

its a cheapo coolermaster ...
btw could it be my memory? i have two sticks of 128meg pc133 ... one is a major third the other corsair
do i have to lower it to 6 or is 6.5 ok or can i try 7?
so the 750 is the worst oc duron?

ok sickboy i tried your 6x multiplier and the 133fsb ... i saved it to my bios ... my pc restarted but my screen never popped on ... real strange ... i cleared my cmos and did my settings how they wore before ... 7.5*112 = 840
btw my pc is real cool ( i think ) never goes above 45 and now my case is open i think it even doesnt go over 40

I think the problem is you're Vcore. I think you need to up it alot more to get it to run stable. It's kinda low as it is now.

Ya I would bump up the voltage. When you do that just watch your temps though

now its running @ 840 @ vcore 1.60 ... and its stable but i know if i want to go to 863 ... i will have to boost up my vcore incredibly because it even locked when i set it to 1.75 so i think the problem is situated elsewhere
could it be the ram?
