New Beta Bios P4C800-E DX 1018.001!

*New* Beta Bios P4C800-E/P4C800 (Non-E)/P4P800 DX 1018.001!

Anyone would like to try this new beta bios:

-Bios logo is changed (Pure Gold)
-Boot time in between 1017.004 and 1016
-Clocks the same as 1017.004 if not better and it is more responsive.

P4C800 DX Beta Bios 1018.001 (Non-E)

P4P800 Beta Bios 1018.002

-Use At Your Own Risk!!!
-Use latest Afudos to flash the bios. Just rename the bios file to P4P800.ROM/P4C800D.ROM

Ive been using this bios for almost a week and it's working flawlessly..........

Will it work on the non "E" boards? I have the P4C800 Dlx Rev 1.

where did you get this I was on the asus site today and they only had beta 1017.002 ??

1018.004 now available for P4C800-E from Station Drivers. Other betas for related boards also.

can u change multi's with this bios... like if i had a 3.2e sl7b8 could i change the multi to 14?

I've read some reports that some users can change multi with beta bios 1018.001 and 1018.004. But the bios 1015 will for sure set your multi to 14x and this is automatically.....

I used 1015 before. but the multi is still 14X ...
what's problem with my p4c800ed

In asus website . it said : Add CPU LockFree function. this is for bios 1018... I am using this bios but i can't find the lockfree function. do I need to flash each bios one by one.
coz I flashed 1016 back to 1015 (try to see I can change multi) and then flashed 1015 to 1018 ..

This is the final word on multi changing 3.2E prescott. You can only change the multi if you're 3.2E is C0 stepping. I dont think it works on a D0...I hope i get a C0 though, i have one coming next week.........

BTW if you plan on using any of the bios 1018 beta or final...Use this one i provided 1018.001 much more stable than the 1018.004 and final.....

thanks I download the .001 now and see how it's going. but if you get a C0 you might not oc that higher than D0 and it is hot.
maybe asus would add D0 into multi changing for the next bios.. that's what I hope!

What's your max temps atm full load with your current clocks. I'd like to know where I stand when my 3.2E arrives next week
