laing d4 , Vertical

Any of the Laing D4 pumps, is it safe to mount vertically.
basically i'll build alittle mount, to screw into, the water then can pump sideways ...

Im building an external rubbermaid box, which will be above the computer , easier to deal with and manage with water coming out ----- then |.

I dont expect any positive or negative effects from doing this, just a nicer design then having hose going up for no reason.

why wouldnt it, its a closed loop

As far as I know, all inline pumps will function fine vertically.
