View Full Version : mushkin PC3500 black lvl2 timings.....
im test a pair of 512mb sticks of mushkin 3500 black lvl2 with BH-5
does anyone know what mushkin rated these sticks to run on an intel 875 board at stock 217mhz (DDR434)? i believe it was 2-3-2-6 but cant remember cuz mushkin has since taken down the tech specs from their website since its no longer produced....

I found this. Is this your product?
http://www.anandtech.com/memory/showdoc.html?i=1853&p=6
yes i think thats my memory
but anandtech didnt specify which timing the "3" is
i found this at another forum asking about the same memory:
"For the Intel 875 and 865 chipsets, the rated specs are:
CAS latency: 2
RAS to CAS Delay: 3
Precharge Delay: 2
Active to Precharge Delay: 6
DDR Voltage 2.5-2.75V"
so its the ras to cas delay = 3
darn memory couldnt hit 240mhz 2-2-2-5 unless i feed it 3.23V
on a side note, i see that you are based in Jax florida.....
let me ask you:
HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU PUT UP WITH 5 HURRICANES IN A ROW????? :eek: :eek:
MUST BE A MAJOR PAIN IN THE ARSE TO SAY THE LEAST
