Stupid driver problem sigh t . t

Ok, I got the latest driver off the Nvidia site for a pci card on my other computer, and now I can't play some games on it.... My best guess is that the driver doesn't support direct draw.

I really don't want to change back drivers cuz in more recent games like wc3 it helps a lot with the lag that I used to get. But games like diablo 2 won't run unless I pick the 3d mode and not the direct draw mode. Is there a way to fix this without reverting to the old driver?

First of all what kind of card are you using in your system?
You might want to try the omega drivers (customized versions of released drivers)

You could always try a system restore or a Nvidia driver uninstall utility (if there is one, I use Radeon) G'luck..
