Dual Channel and IC7-g ?

Has anyone got this to work. Ive put the ram in the correct slots, even flashed the bios with version 26. But still I get the 'single' ram type in cpu-Z.

Both of my memory modules are the same type, and as you can see from the photos, only differnce is the serial number. So what goes with this. Anyone with success in this please reply, and help restore my sanity

This could be the same problem that mms4ba had with two 512 MB dimms. He had one with one bank and the other had two banks. I see that version 1.24 of CPU-Z doesn’t report the number of banks on a dimm like version 1.22.

Thanks for the try. I found cpuz 1.22 and it shows both chips with 2 banks, as well as everything else being the same except the serial number.

So still something goes. Would like to try out the ram on another board, but thats not a runner for me.
