Ok, I am an AMD guy so I am not to familiar with this old system I have. I have an old Compaq that the Mobo died on and I want to use this computer for storage and Internet connection sharing. I need some information on this processor and maby suggestions on a good Mobo. It is a PII but I am not sure of the speed. The numbers on it are:
80523PY350512 SL2S6
18260537-0323 Philipines
That is about all it says except that it is a PII. What is the FSB on these processors? I am toying with the idea of getting a dual board to regain some of the slow processing of this processor. If anyone could fill me in on these processors I would appreciate it.

but depending on what cache speed it has you may get a very good overclock out of it, if it's one of the ones with the same cache as the 450 then 466 on a 133mhz fsb isn't that far fetched.

I've got two of those running on a dually board now, Maxtium BXAD.

I get awesome 16 hour WU times when double crunching, haha.

For the money put into that system it's an oldie but goodie.

2 X PII 350 on Maxtium BXAD
IWill SideRAID66 w/2 X 10GB 5400RPM ATA66 WD HDs
No sound (What's the point? Haha.)
STB Velocity 4400 16MB PCI video card
IOmega Zip100
32X CDROM
160MB PC100 memory CAS3
10/100Mbps generic NIC

Total cost (Had most of this stuff already on hand.) : Just under $130US.
