Hi, i'm getting a brand new comp from scratch, u can see my old one in my sig. with updated w/c, but it's gone now, so i need a new one... i have been out of the the circle for a while so i need some advise on recent hardware...
i want a AMD 64bit set-up, with a radeon gfx card, but im not sure what stuff to get, i.e. which 64bit chip, which mobo, and 9800pro, 9800xt, or even x800, and also what brand...
case wise, i think i will go for a coolermaster, but which brand is the best do u guys think? with a side window, and a door for the drivebays...
one last thing is the ram, any advise is greatly appreciated, thanks in advanced, bye!

A64 - wait for the 939s to show on newegg, get a 3200
Mobo - MSI K8N Neo2
GFX - X800XT (make sure its AGP)
Case - Coolermaster is a nice case
Ram - The corsair you had is fine, but you could go up to 3500 is you want

90nm Althon 64 939 3000+ I think is the best bet right now.

for the MSI Neo board, is this one ok? http://www.cpucitystore.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=549
i guess the choice is very limited at the moment on 939 boards, is this one the best for sure?
also when u say the new 939s 3200+ on newegg? the thing is a new chip would have very little information on overclocking? surely... plus im from the UK so i cant order from newegg :'(
the x800xt gfx card, how much are they? and what brand do u think is good, i dont wanna speed too much money on overpriced technology, i did that last time with my 9700pro...
thanks again!

CASE: i personally like like the build and quality of the aluminum CM cases, Praetorian and WaveMaster :), the WaveMaster has a door over the drive bays, Praetorian has better airflow. CM stacker is steel but has great airflow and alot of room for any mods
CPU: i'd go for socket939 a64's (dual channel), 3000+ and 3200+ have been just released and more affordable $180-200, 3500+ and up cost $320+. there is no reason to buy the 754 socket anymore since they are in the same price range as the low end 939s
MOBO: there isn't a big selection for 939 boards, but i prefer the nforce3 chipset
VIDEO: why only ATI? and how much are u willing to spend? the 9800XTs prices are a bit high too high, why get x800pro when u could get a 6800GT for cheaper? heres my breakdown: the 9800pro for less than $200, 6800nu for $200-300, 6800GT for $300-400, 6800Ultra or x800xt for $400+

thanks for the advice guys, especially on the CM cases, my budget is not that great, about £800-£1000... this would include the monitor, keyboard, everything basically...
i also need a DVD RW drive. the only thin im a bit confused about is a CPU (every1s said a 939 so far, but which is best atm, overclocking wise, is there a stepping i should watch out for?), i'm in the UK so i cant get ones from USA even though they r a lot cheaper! also as for gfx card, i wanted a radeon because i always had one, and it never let me down. also i dont know ANYTHING about gforce cards! but im open to changes.
anymore opinions / advice is very welcome, thanks for all the help so far.

939 3200+ (http://www.monarchcomputer.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=M&Product_Code=120422&Category_Code=NA_2)
think its still a bit early in the game for good steppings, these chips have only been out for a week or two. the MSI probably going to be your best bet at the moment. im sure there will be a much larger selection of 939 boards in the near future
