Hey.
Here's just a few routers that could suit your needs:

I especially like the SMC Barricade Broadband Router 4P 10/100 switches, very cheap, but packed full of features.
;)
would that router be on newegg or at a store like compusa or bestbuy?

I've never had trouble with my linksys. Never. One of my friends has a dlink, and he hates it. I, personally, run my linksys as a switch/AP and run a smoothwall.
i have no clue what a smooth wall is.... or what a switch is..
basically i just want one that can let me connect another comp to the internet. i dont care about the firewall because ill still be using zone alarm. unless someone could get me a faq on how to use smooth wall and tell me what a switch is....

If you get a router, then most likely you won't need zonealarm.

Why don't you go to either site and find out?

Whatever you do, DON'T bet the Linksys Befsr41 v3. It has aim connectivity problems. When more than one person are on aim at a time, usually every 2-30 minutes, all will get kicked off and the only way to reconnect to aim is to go into the router, and resave the settings - not changing anything or reentering the ports, just saving... I hate it.
