how to replace a floppy with flash drive

That would require switching the drive letter of the usb to be A: or B: and those are reserved, so unless you can come up with some kind of usb-ide adaptor or hack windows into letting you usa a: or b:, then it's not gonna happen.
 
i dont get what you mean... replace floppy with a flash drive?

ive never heard of this, explain plz?
 
that is what i mean, use the flash drive as the floppy, so i can get rid of my floppy
 
What I wish to do is to use the flash drive as an XP install disk. . .sort of like replacing the CD with a flash drive. . YES my mo board supports booting from a flash BUT I cant get it to boot into the XP setup. The flash drivce is seen correctly as a removable hard drive in the BIOS. Anyone know how???
