Photoshop

I'm trying to get photoshop to work on this HP but after it loads it just crashes, I tried reintalling it and it still crashed. This is on win xp and the photoshop version is 7.0, is there a error log where I can check what went wrong?

Edit: kind of fixed, used a different version of it and it worked.

Do you have the paging file disabled? I encountered some problems when trying to install Photoshop with no paging file.

It's not my pc, but I highly doubt I would be able to do anything if the page file was disabled as it only has 128mb of ram, running winxp.
