error running 3D05

when i try to run it, i get this error: "IDirect3DDevice9::CreatePixelShader failed: Invalid call (D3Derr_INVALIDCALL)"....can anyone help me out? thanks....

id be scared to run it on a ti4200, lol my 5950 shuddered along at 3 fps..

umm do you have DX9c?
