I'm not really that familiar with LCD monitors... so some LCD monitors are VGA and some are DVI I'm guessing, and DVI is more preffered? Why is this?

Yes it has DVI. I have owned one for almost 6 months now. My favorite monitor to date. It folds up so nicely and carries great in a geargrip. This monitor is the champ among gaming IMO. 12ms response time is awesome and zero ghosting! I paid $580 for this monitor and it was worth it!

DVI is prefered with an LCD since it is faster than standard VGA analog. They are currently working on a new DVI also, I think its XDVI or something.

I believe DVI helps with ghosting.
