P75 laptop

How good wold a P75 laptop do w/40mb ram? Its just laying around doing nothing, So I though maybe make it fold all the time.

You could try but I don't think it will complete a wu within the required time frame. :(

It's a good thought but it probably wouldn't make the deadline for returning the work which is like 3 or 4 days. After that the server will reject the work. There are other projects that it could be used for though, such as Genome@Home (http://genomeathome.stanford.edu/) which, as far as I know, has no solid deadline.

Also, laptops tend to not cool as well. So becareful not to burn it up running fah.

Someone here burned up a p3 laptop i believe.

Thanks for the advise!! Think I'll keep it as a backup and leave
my main pc for folding.
