Adding memory to an Dual 512 setup

Hi, I'm thinking of getting one 512 stick to my system and I'm wondering will it do much good as the setup is 2X256.
Is the upgrade worth the money?

the gig of memory will increase performance, with the AMD systems dual channel doesn't give that much of a boost than on p4s

Just be sure you plug your 2x256mb sticks into the same memory channel, then plug the 512 into the other. Also, make sure they have similar latency timings or you may have incompatibility issues.
