Howdy I just got 12.41 drivers and now I get a slight shadow off to the left of every image. . I tried the 12.90 too and got the same echo, It was off a clean install and the drivers that didn't have the shadow were the ones the win me came with. I have a geforce 256 card, p3v4x, 600e o/c'd to 800, and wd 100gig hd. Any one have any idea why this is? to inistall the driver, I booted in safe deleted it from the sys devices and than rebooted and installed it. Thanks in advance for any help

When replacing drivers I go to Start-->Search Files and Folders. Do a search for NV*.* and delete all the ones that show up (all of these are nVidia files but look them all over to make sure).

I then go to Start-->Run and type REGEDIT for the registry editor and delete the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation key (NOTE: just the NVIDIA CORPORATION folder).

Then I reboot. Those two steps are done after I have actually uninstalled the driver from Device Manager by the way.

Well I deleted it in the sys devices, rebooted to safe, and deleted all the nv files, and than dieleted nvidia corp in the rege, and it still did it, I hit the print screen key and nothing happened. Not sure why. But it looks like there is two screens one is faded, and off to the left about 1- 2mm. It really makes the screen blurry=(

pressing print screen copys an image of the desktop to the clip board, then you need to paste that into an graphics app.

k, I looked at it a little closer, and its not really a shadow, but its like 3/4 of the image is in one spot and the other 1/4 is shadowed to the right. its hard to explain, but the image on the left isn't at full power, its a bit faded.
