Hey all ive just looked back at the last few pages of the cooling section and could not find an answer to my particular question. You see i have stumbled upon a 118W pelt. (10Amp, unsure of weather 13.8 or 12V) 1st off the cooling solution for the pelt. It will be a custom made copper block that preforms within 1 or 2C of DD and Becooling. A RIO 138GPH inline submersable pump in a 20 gallon aquarium. Any problems there with regards to cooling the pelt? I know its crude but i was hoping the 20 gallon would do for now.
Ok next up is powering the pelt. Ive got 2 10Amp, 12V power supply's but ive been told they wont cut it. Can somebody suggest to me a PS that will supply the proper power, easy enough to set up, not outright expensive (im prepared to spend what is needed) and i can buy online. Or perhaps someone can suggest the "type" of PS that i need, regulated, switching? Im new to this Pelt scene so bear with me.
3rdly, is a mounting mechanism. The waterblock is approx. 1" thick, plus a coldplate and a pelt. Are there any clips out there that would work? I'll have to wait untill i recieve all this before a can tell you the actual total height but its looking pretty beefy as of now. I know luefkens clip will accomodate the waterblock alone but dont know about the coldplate w/pelt also.
Sorry guys I know thats a lot to swallow but an answer to any one of those 3 questions would be greatly appreciated.
