I am running a Duron 600 and it is stable at 800@ 1.85/100FSB/8x. Problem is that if I go up one notch to just 101, it becomes unstable. Now my mobo is a FIC AZ11E, which uses the KT133 C/S. My bios set up is such that my adjustment for FSB, adjusts both CPU and PCI clock speed.
The only device I have running in a PCI slot is my Modem.
It is set now at 100/33mhz. I really don't think it is the PCI clock speed that is the problem because at 100-103 CPU clock, it leaves the PCI clock at 33mhz, so essentially it is unaffected until I reach much higher clock speeds of say 105-110 and above. I recall this same processor, which is unlocked by the way, even running at stock voltages and multipliers, would only allow me to run the FSB up to 110 before it crocked. Any thought on why this set up is so sensitive to FSB adjustments and what can be done to improve it? Thanks, Mike

Idle temp is 30 C. Heavy load temp is 40C at the hghest I have ever seen it. Normally while gaming it runs at 35-38C. Mike

I have the az11e too, i can get 105 fsb and then it just locks up. i currently have my duron 900 running at 105x9.5

if you come up with a solution to the fsb issue please let me know :)

I'm not too familiar with that board, but I'll throw some suggestions out. What kind of heatsink/fan is on the north bridge, if any? If none, slap one on there! The thermaltake blue orbs are good, cheap chipset coolers. If there is one on there, take that sucker off and check the bottom! Lap it if necessary. Try and get your north bridge temps down.

This is a reply to the last two posts. I will check the Nothbridge to see if it has a H/S but as memory serves me, it does not. So that is woorth looking inot. Also for the other guy, I am gooing to try to up my I/O voltage. It was suggested on another board that I may have to bump it up from like 3.3 to 3.5v. to allow further movement of the FSB. Thanks guys, Mike
