9800 pro to x800, Worth it?

Is the differnce between these two cards worth the cash? I gave a friend who wants to buy my 9800 pro for about $200 and I was wondering if I should take that cash and sink it into a x800 or just hold on to me 9800 pro. I have an athlon 3000 1gig of corsair ram and a abit nf7 mobo

It's worth it if you want all the eye candy you receive by using a high-end card. If you're not a big gamer then it wouldn't be worth it.

if you like 2x the performance of your 9800pro, then yes do it.

there are some serious games coming up, HL2, Stalker, ect, ect, that will LOVE that new x800. if you like high res, withhigh aa/af in new games, then you need a new card.

i'm currently trying to find a good price on a x800provivo, friggin IMPOSSIBLE in canada. $600....ouch...

but for me its worth it, my 9700 is tired, and i'll slap it into my amd rig.

For 2x the performance, might be worth it especially with those new games.

I just upgraded to my 9800pro, and I'm loving it. I am going to hold off the x800 for a while.
