high FPS in CS on geforce 256??

back when geforce 256 first came out i read on some website that was doing tests on it that it got high fps (70-90+) in CS. but i just never been able to get over 60..... i changed max fps to 100 and all..... but still..... anyone know what i might be doing wrong?

that depends on what the pixels you have it at and what pixels they had it at on the test and the machines speeds.

I set my limit to 250, but still I get around 100. no more, and most of the time no less.

I have V3 3000.

CS has a limit of 100 FPS. (actually 99)
