p4p800 deluxe mobo slow bootup time?

ever since i switched to this mobo my bootup time has been obnoxiously long, usually 3+ minutes every time. anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

Set the IDE detection to 5 secconds and remove the floppy drive in the boot sequence.

Change your ram timing and burt length to 8.

come to think of it, my floppy drive is recognized but doesnt read disks

how do you know it's recognized?
does its LED lights all the time? if yes - then floppy cable was connected wrong way. disconect, rotate 180 degerees and reconect. 1st check if the the mobo side or the floppy side is connected the wrong way.

also, try updating ur bios too
