is there a way to reduce the noise of the OTES in the ic7 max 3 by reducing the voltege(fanEQ) works??
 
yes you can reduce the noice by reducing th revs with speedfan. If you don't like to run speedfan all the time than you can edit the ini file and set 'fullonexit=false' (default is 'true'). You can than close the program and the speed remains set.

However, if you are running a Prescott or other highly OC'd CPU's than you want to consider leaving the revs high as it performs some cooling to the mosfets that are hammered when for example running dual P95.

i am running a 2.8E but i am not OC so is fine to do it with speed fan
