say a single channel 754 mobo...would higher bandwidth memory be optimal for OCing and gaming? or would lower bandwidth with tighter timings be optimal?

well, to be honest with you it just depends..lol

i would say that inmost cases that tighter timings is better, unless your comparing 2-2-2 at 240, against 3-4-4 at 300..lol

if oyu could post some rams that your trying to decide between.

it seems in alot of cases that a combination works best, perhappes

2.5-3-3 at 270-290
or 3-2-2 at 250-270
