Is anyone aware of any VGA cooling options for the 16x16MB memory configuration 256MB 9800 Pros? Someone noted that Arctic Cooling's ATI Silencer 3 doesn't work well with these cards and I wanted to know if anyone can confirm that. I am also looking into the Vantec Ice Berg 4 which is also supposedly to work with 9800 Pro's (but not sure if it works with this one). Any information is appreciated :).

skip the iceberq 4 (not enough surface area to cool a 9800pro very well)... not sure about the ati silencer but you might consider the VGA silencer rev 3. I've read that they work well with the 256mb 9800pro.

I believe your card looks like this right.

If so then the ati silencer 3 won't work for ya. The ram sinks on the silencer won't line up at all. It's designed for cards that look like this

I'd suggest either a vga silencer rev 3 or ATI silencer 1. Tehy don't have ramsinks on them so they should fit alright. My ATI Silencer 1 is treating me very well :)
