I've been looking for a new case and came across the Yeong Yang (YY 0221) server cube. Has anyone set up a system in one of these? How easy is it to work with? It appears that some modding might be needed to get good mobo cooling or perhaps the cube could be set up to have a self-contained watercooling system.
I found the case at a number of places, below is just one:

That case looks pretty cool. I'll bet its expensive though.
I was always wanting one of them!
If you get the case, tell us how it goes!
Maybe post some pics!

Actually you can buy the case directly from Yeong Yang.

Beige is $155 with no power. If I get one I'll post an update. However, it won't happen until the end of October since I'm getting married and am directing finances toward that event.

I would say that depends on your needs and personal preferences. Off the top of my head you can probably fit more in the server cube without much difficulty. So if you have a raid setup, mulitple optical drives, and so on you should be able get them in the cube with ease and have good air flow around the drives. I also like the idea of having the drives all on one side and only the mobo on the other. However, with the cube it looks like the cooling solution on the mobo side is weak so modding would be in order.
That said, the Lian Li looks to be an excellent case and is sweet looking with the brushed almuninum finish which has its own cooling benefits. I don't know what fan configuration the Lian Li has so you will want to look into that. Also remember that the cube is two times as wide as a standard ATX so you will want to think about where you will sit it and I wouldn't want to lug it to a lan either. May not be an issue for most but you definately won't be putting a cube on your desktop, then again I've seen just about everything once.
