Couple Questions

Building a new system AMD 3200+ etc..
I was originally going to buy the Corsair Value select RAM from Newegg but it ran out. Im on a budget.

I was browsing the refurbished section for RAM and found this-

Is this a good buy even though it's refurb? And am I better off going 2x256 or 1x512?
Any recommendations?

if its an AXP 3200+ and not an A64 3200+ 754, then yes 2x256 is the way to go for the dual channel capability. But if you are going to upgrade to a gig of ram later on down the road go with the single stick of 512. Although I am hivng issues with my refurbed Kingston Value Ram
