Will a 16bit 184pin RIMM fit into a 32bit 232pin RIMM slot?

It looks like it could...Has anyone physically seen the differences in ram? Would this destroy a motherboard if the wrong type was placed into the wrong board. I'm refering to the P4T533 and the P4T533-C...

No, it will not fit. The two modules are completely different from one another. Fortunately the slots are designed so that the slower among us cannot accidentally shoehorn a 184 pin RIMM into a 232 pin slot.

Yes, the PC1066 16-bit has two notches at the bottom. The RIMM4200 32-bit has one big notch, in a different location. No way Jose.

If you are drunk, this will certainly prevent you from installing the wrong RDRAM in the board :).
