Why would you care?

I am sure you are not going to get it...I am sure you will keep using the crappy TI-4200 till 2007...

:P :P :P :P

Did you softmod that YOURSELF?

You were saying Flashing the Card is Big NOWAY to you (http://www.sharkyforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=250193)...

Therefore, it is premoded right? C**ard...

and both of your card got owned in games like FarCry and Doom 3 right?

Before another pointless video card flame war is started "cough"xiaolanhua"cough" here is some info I found on the R480 and some on the NV48.

http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=18850 -- R480
http://www.penstarsys.com/index.html -- Both, its underneath the Oct 4th Update.

This is all preliminary stuff of course, but it does appear that there will be a new rehash of the R4xx and NV4x series quite soon.
Also, I'm sure that there's some more info at www.beyond3d.com, but I was too lazy to check.

I softmodded it myself using rivatuner and I never flashed it. I realize it could die because its been softmodded but its an $80 card so no big deal. I would never mod a $400 card. I dont know why that review thinks ati cant get better clocks on 110nm, even the inquirer says the r480 will be like 550/700 clocks
