I don't know how to explain what I am needing to know, but here it goes:On my 8K7A+ I have got that extra "hook" at the end of my AGP slot.My KT7A does not.Does this feature have any significance in performance? Both my Radeon and my GeForce have the hook that goes into this "extra slot" and I was wondering if it played an important part or if it did nothing? I'm pretty much an idiot when it comes to video and graphics, but would like to get the best performance that I can.Thank you.

Also, Are there any known conflicts with either of these cards and these setups:
Epox 8K7A+, SBLive 5.1, Plextor 16x, Linksys ethernet port, DVD,
Abit KT7A, Philips Sound card, Linksys,

It's just a locking mechanism for the AGP card.

As far as those devices go, I have most of them or similar ones on my 8K7A+ and the only sharing I have is my network card and serial ports (whooptiedoo).
