i broke the little tab that the heatsink clip connects to, can this be reliably glued back and if so which glue please ?

i heard some ppl say that it's possible to do the job with super good epoxy

it should work but u should leave it to dry for like a few hours

You can try to glue it, but that depends on the break. I had one break, but it broke in a "long" piece, so there was a lot more surface area for the glue to bond. If just the little tab itself broke off, and none of the plastic around it, you could be SOL. You might want to invest in a HSF that mounts with the 4 holes around the socket.

My advice is to try using the 4 holes around the CPU to hold the HSF down in future. If the clip comes loose once glued during CPU up-time its GAME OVER for the processor.
