Will open office do everything MS word can do?
Is it easy to make the adjustment from MS word to Open office?

I'm asking this because a lady I know uses MS word for all her work but needs an alternative for now untill she gets MS word back and I have a copy of Open office to lend her.

TX in advance:)

I havent used Oo_O much but I am sure it is relatively similar - enough for basic office use.

yeah, I just recently made the switch, and if anything I find it more user friendly. Some keys and stuff are different, and for the life of me can't get the page numbering to work but whatever.

I like it better... It loads slower, but if you leave it resident in the task tray it will always open immediately (for me atleast).

I think the autoformatting is friendlier to work with, meaning it doesn't just format things however it wants, but it actually lets you do it by default.

I would definetly recommend it.
