I'm getting random crashes - restarts and black screens, even when editing the bios, so it's not software related. I tested the RAM and it was fine. No cooling issues (i'm actually underclocking right now). Could my 2 year old expensive Antec PSU be dying?

That exact thing just happened to me -- my 2 year old Antec 430W True Power PSU started going belly up on me. Replaced it with the 480W NeoPower.

Hehe.

Actually I was planning on replacing my old PSU with an Ultra X-Connect PSU, especially since I'm planning on going acrylic with my next case. However I wasn't able to really find any good reviews (or any reviews at all) for it, so mainly based on the positive feedback for Antec here on the forums I decided to stick with Antec an go with the NeoPower as a replacement (which I must admit is actually rather sleek). I also decided it would be a good idea to get a multimeter and must say that I am happy with both purchases. Though of course now that I commited to the NeoPower I've since found good reviews for the X-Connect and heard some bad things about the Neopower (concerning the 12v rail -- mine is running a solid 11.93v btw).

So what makes come to that conclusion without any test or data ?? just a thought!!. Use a MM before you throw it away. A lot of factors need be considered...........

I replaced the PSU with a new Antec 430. It works perfectly now.
