Thats probably not a bad deal......but Best Buy has PC4000's for 119$ after MIR, and they are 175 each on NewEgg.com

Except the PC4000 suck because have terrible latencies--CAS 3...I bought 2 of them and returned them in a week.

Ah, too bad you can't buy 2 of these sticks, only 1 per household.

I dont think any of us answered his real questions....

You should notice a performance jump. But being that your multiplier is set at 10, you cant use a ratio and notice the performance. If you bump down to 9, and go 9x280 or something similar, you can use a ratio and get those frequencies up.

The KHX PC3200 with the "A" in the product code uses Winbond ch-5 chips. They are decent overclockers, but not up to the bh-5 chip's levels. With slightly relaxed timings they have been known to hit 230-240 fsb on 32-bit rigs, I don't know how they will do on A64 systems. The "A" in the product code distinguishes these from the modules using bh-5 which have no "A" in the product code. The timings also are provide a clue that these are ch-5 based modules. The review linked below will give you a pretty good idea of what they will do. Now you just need a buddy or family member to order one so that you can get a pair.

PC4000 sucks for amd, but for intel latencies dont affect preformance as much, so pc4000 would do just fine
It sucks because you can find the same chips on much cheaper RAM and save yourself a significant amount of cash.
