I recently started to build a new pc and i bought an antec solutions case. Case (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-129-148&depa=1) and 2 WD Raptors Hard Drives (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=22-144-160&depa=1)
I received all my parts and put the other components in. I went to attatch my drives to the slides that came with the case, only to find that the screw holes didn't line up. I twisted 'em every which way. They just didnt fit. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so what did you do. This problem is really getting on my nerves. :temper: Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,

P.S. - ive already contacted antec on the issue, and haven't yet received a response.

Is there any other way to mount the Harddrives sucha s directly screwing them into the HD cage-thing? In my Chieftec Dragon case the slides were only for the actual optical drives and the HDs and floppy to be screwed in direclt into their cage-things, dunno about Antecs though.

BTW, nice case--me likey.

I've not installed Raptors in there but i've put other drives in that same case with no issue. used the 3.5" bays

are you putting them into the 5.25" bay or 3.5" bay?

I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to use those brackets for harddrives, since I couldn't fit mine with them as as well.

I am using the 3.5 inch bays (i can put a square peg in a square hole)
Ill try to screw em in directly. That would explain the unusual screws that came with it!! Thanks guys!!
