Son wants a screensaver on his computer. I've already loaded BOINC up and disabled the screensaver section, anyone know how to get it running without reloading BOINC?

I just tested on my machine which was installed NOT to use the screensaver, and all I did was right-click on the desktop then go to the screensaver tab and there was a selection there for BOINC. I selected that and there I had it. Hope it is that simple for you!
