Please Help!!!disaster????

HI COULD ANYONE HELP PLEASE?

I've installed a Abit KT7A motherboard with a AMD Athlon 1.2Ghz chip, a Elsa Gladiac 920 graphics card 2x sticks of pc133 crucial ram, after connecting just the basics i'm getting no self test beeps and no image to the monitor?? I've taken one thing off at a time except the cpu but still no beeps from the speaker?? Have i fried my cpu or bu**ered my mobo? I've also taken mobo out of case to see if there is a short, no joy.

Please help someone i'm drowning!!!!!:confused:

Probably the cpu, testing it in another pc or using another cpu in the board is the only way to find out for sure.

Did you by chance run the CPU wothout the heatsink/fan? This may sound silly, but you would be suprised how many people do this and it only takes 2-5 seconds to fry the CPU.
