hmm might help a bit if you list what you want, like does it need to be pc3200, how much do you want 256? 512?

it has to be dual channel so AT LEAST pc2700

also preferred to be something that oc's a wee bit

get some samsung pc2700 off ebay with the tcb3 chips (theyre still availble used). that stuff will oc to 225/250..

are you running p4 or amd?

If amd go for a 512 of 3200 ... man lost the link ill be back

How's about 2x256 of KHX PC3200 with Winbond bh-5 chips? I hear they OC just a wee bit.

Or if you prefer, its big brother is shipping for $90/512 stick (limit 1 per household, so you've got to get a friend to help you out if you want 2 sticks.

Don't let the descriptions fool you, they are both shipping with bh-5. I can vouche for the 2x256 sticks and according to the thread below, what is supposed to be ch-5 chips (PC3200A) is actually shipping with the non "A" version, the straight PC3200 which is what has the bh-5 chips.

Man, I would borrow or do whatever (just don't steal), to get the money for the other stick because I don't think they will last. They had about 140 on Friday and the word is getting out. In your favor is the fact that people are looking for 512 sticks these days. Good luck.

Dual channel depends on the mobo, ram is not dual channel. In order to have dual channel effect, you would need two of the same speed memory,.ie 2x256 or 2x512 etc...

Ordered two (separate orders - two shipping addresses) of the KHX3200A/512. I very much doubt they have BH-5, but if not, still a solid deal for low latency ram.

Well those other guys did, so I hope you do, too. The 256 sticks are the non "A" variety which only shipped with bh-5 but the product description at Outpost is all wrong...it is describing the newer TCCD stuff.

please say this ram is not ****. i just spent $ on it . oh ****. well mobo/cpu comes in tommorow and the psu whenever the hell its done touring the country.

even if the ram is TCCD, TCCD ram has been having amazing results. So if you get BH5 or TCCD your ready to fly to a high overclock.
