You sure that's the game and not the book? I mean, I know what slickdeals says, but Target's website only seems to list the book, unless I'm missing something. Also, I know a lot of MMO's will sell Presale boxes that basically just hold you a copy of the game when it's released, maybe it's something along those lines? I mean, I suppose it could be legit, but something seems weird.

Well if this deal is anything like what's selling at Best Buy and EB Games, then it's just the presale box, meaning it's a box with a promo CD and the money goes towards a down payment on the final release.

that's complete bs. im getting sick of this bait and switch crap. if they had any integrity (which they of course do not) they'd honor the advertised price or at the very least give those that ordered coupon codes or something.

Aren't companies required by law to sell something at the advertised price? Or does that only apply to in-person items? I worked at a grocery store for most of my time in highschool, and if the sale tags weren't changed when the sale was over, people still got the sale price.

i don't think there are any laws but any company that has respect for their customers conducts business like that. that's why i normally don't shop at ****holes like walmart, target and the likes.

Yes. If they charge your credit card then they have to sell it to you at that price. If they do not then they do not have to. False advertisement is one thing, price mistake is another.

That's false. I was charged for 2500 DVD-Rs @ 2.49 for a 500 pack and amazon cancelled my order.
