I have done a complete reformat and reinstall and moved to service pack 2. I have 2 accounts, one limited and one Administrator. Problem is:
Whenever I try to cut/paste, delete or otherwise modify a file created by the Admin account with the limited account (read: virtually everything installed/downloaded) it gives me an access denied message. As this is XP Home I have no GPedit.msc so I can't figure out what SP2 broke to prevent me accessing files with the limited account. I want this account to work for everyday stuff because it's more secure.
Also the Hosts file seems to not work - I am using a proxied connection though, would that break it?
Any ideas?
