MyIE2 is skinnable. I've got several skins for it.
I use in this order:
Opera 7.01, Phoenix 0.5 nightly build and lastly MyIE2.

oh.. i didnt know it was skinnable... meh... the only thing id ont like about Opera is that there are still some small quirks and bugs that need to get worked out... like one that i just noticed (though it dosnt effect me) is that when it is loading a page and the littel bar comes up, it covers the down arrow button (like i dont care cuz i use a scroll wheel or just grab the thing so i can go all the way to the top/bottom but its still there and kinda makes it seem unfinished.. which i think its still kinda a work in progress browser right?):D

All browsers and software in general are works in progress until support gets dropped and then they just slowly fade into obscurity.

thats true, for some reason i consider smaller spftware companys programs more work in progress... esp Open source stuff- or maybe its just i think the Micro$oft should have perfect stuff and i dont expect the others ones to... (though they DONT have near perfect stuff so why do i think i think that?!?! ):D

Netscape 7.01, it has a built in pop-up blocker (if you know how to enable it) Why doesnt anyone else use it?

Netscape or the pop up blocker?
I always use the pop up blockers but I don't like Netscape because it's just the other side of the bad penney IE is on AFAIC.

i was referring to netscape, just wondering if I was missing something. I understand the hatred for IE, just having it on your system opens you up to pop-ups when your not even using it, which is why i delete it on every comp i get my hands on, but netscape has kept me pop-up free from the first install and I've never had a problem with it (its download manager needs work though, cant resume it seems)

So do Mozilla (which the new Netscape engine is based on:D ) and Opera. I'm not sure about the others, but most non-IE browsers have some kind of security settings that can block pop-ups.

Unfortunatly I've had to leave IE on my box so other college related SW and on line courses absolutely refuse to work without either IE or Netscape. Some are even IE exclusive. I manage to get MyIE to work very well with the IE core so it's not a total loss. I have Phoenix and that is the same as Netscape except a whole lot trimmer and faster. I haven't tried to use Phoenix on college sites.
i.e 6 in windows, Mozilla in Linux

MyIE2 is IE but with many extra enhancements that are incorporated into the browser shell. It uses IE's browser engine core. So if IE has any optimizations, MyIE2 will have them too.

You'll like it. It does anything IE can do and then twice as much again.
I even got it working on my 486 under NT4. Kinda tricky to make it work but it's the only decent modern browser that I can use on that box.
